Having a young family, my wife and I had always dreamed of building our own home to raise our kids in, and hopefully grow old in ourselves. An even bigger dream was to have my own shop/accessory dwelling that I could operate my Performance Training & Rehabilitation business out of. After much deliberation, Arkadia was the builder we decided to go with because of their reputation, value, and honest up front approach.
Our home, and accessory building had many custom touches and was anything but a simple build. We really appreciated Chris’ eye for detail with these unique touches (such as exposed rafter tails, cedar soffit, an open staircase, arched doors, and much more.) He made sure everything was to our liking, and whenever an issue arose he dealt with it promptly and ensured the build quality was high.
As much as we appreciated the quality of our home, we equally appreciated how Chris handled the whole building process. As with most custom builds, us (the owners) tended to get impatient and apprehensive throughout the process. Chris did a great job walking us through where we were at each step of the build, and doing whatever he could to push things forward. When roadblocks, product delays, or trades issues did arise, Chris let us know immediately and always gave us the inside scoop on things. We sincerely appreciated his honesty and patience with us throughout the building process.
Now that we have been in our home for 6 months, we continue to marvel at not just the quality of the build, but the feel the house gives. We love to host dinners, and have lots of friends through our doors. Our guests often comment that the home feels inviting, warm, and welcoming. We can’t be more thankful for the feel our house gives off.
Exactic, blessed, thankful are some of the words that come to mind when thinking about our home and business that we get to call ours. We are very thankful for Chris and his team’s efforts to build a home we can enjoy and use to be a blessing to others, as well as a business that can help the community thrive.
